The Energy Backup Plan eliminates the typically high upfront costs associated with battery systems, which can exceed $16,000. Instead, homeowners can subscribe to the service, gaining access to premium battery storage without any initial payment. Currently, approximately four million rooftop solar systems in the U.S. lack battery backup, leaving many homes without power during outages. Palmetto's offering aims to fill this gap, providing a dependable solution for homeowners seeking to enhance their energy resilience.
