Tuya Smart Unveils AI Innovations at IFA 2026

Tuya Smart has introduced a series of advanced AI products and ecosystems at IFA 2026, emphasizing its commitment to integrating full-stack artificial intelligence into everyday life. The highlight of the event is the global debut of Doova, a new AI companion robot designed to assist seniors in their homes.

Doova is equipped with advanced features such as LiDAR navigation, sound source localization, and posture recognition powered by computer vision. It can respond to voice commands, assess users' postures, and initiate video calls to family members if needed. Beyond companionship, Doova engages users through conversations, assists with understanding complex bills, and provides reminders for medications and appointments.

In addition to Doova, Tuya has launched its AI Home, AI Robot, and AI Energy ecosystems in Europe for the first time. AI Home offers a range of smart devices, including an AI-powered sleep monitor that adapts the home environment based on user activity. This device features radar technology to monitor heart rate and sleep quality, generating daily reports for users.

Tuya's AI Robot ecosystem includes various AI-enabled products aimed at pet care and interactive experiences. Notably, Aura, a robot designed for pet interaction, uses behavioral analysis to respond to pets' emotional states, while other devices in this category promote engagement through play and companionship.

Furthermore, Tuya's AI Energy system connects solar panels, smart meters, and electric vehicle chargers, enabling efficient energy management at home. By integrating real-time pricing data from over 800 electricity providers across Europe, the system optimizes household energy usage and reduces costs.

The introduction of these technologies demonstrates Tuya's strategy to merge cloud intelligence with physical devices and development tools, enhancing user experience across various environments, including home care and energy management.
