Robot.com to demo robots at NACAS Conference in Chicago

Robot.com will demonstrate its humanoid and delivery robots at the NACAS C3X Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago from September 27-30. This event marks the first time the company's R-noid humanoid robot will load an R-kiwi delivery robot in a campus setting.

The live demonstration is part of Robot.com's ongoing efforts to enhance campus delivery solutions. The company has recently secured extended commercial agreements with Grubhub and Sodexo, allowing for expanded operations at various college campuses.

Robot.com has been deploying its autonomous delivery robots on college campuses for over seven years, with a fleet that has completed more than 350,000 deliveries across 50 campuses and 150 restaurants. This experience provides the company with insights into how its robots can effectively meet the needs of students and food service providers.

The integration of R-noid and R-kiwi exemplifies Robot.com's commitment to improving operational efficiency in campus food delivery. The R-noid will handle back-of-house tasks, feeding directly into the existing autonomous delivery system used by students.

Robot.com has recently expanded its partnerships, including a three-year extension with Grubhub to bring autonomous delivery to 10 additional campuses and a seven-year agreement with Sodexo, which is its largest deployment to date. This growth highlights the increasing demand for innovative delivery solutions in educational environments.

The company's fleet operates on its proprietary REMI platform, which manages and coordinates all robots in its delivery network. Upcoming plans include the introduction of R-dog, a four-legged robot designed for carrying larger orders and navigating stairs, with commercial deployment expected in early 2027.
