LG Unveils Micro RGB evo with TÜV Rheinland Certification
New TV model features advanced color performance and AI technology.
LG Electronics has introduced the Micro RGB evo, an ultra-large LCD TV recognized for its high-purity RGB color performance, at IFA 2026 in Berlin. This new model has received TÜV Rheinland's 'High Purity RGB Spectrum Display' certification, underscoring its ability to deliver exceptional color accuracy.
Powered by LG's α11 AI Processor Gen3, the Micro RGB evo is designed to enhance picture quality by providing precise color separation across red, green, and blue spectrums. This technology enables the TV to produce lifelike images with remarkable color fidelity, making it suitable for both entertainment and professional applications.
In addition to the Micro RGB evo, LG is expanding its RGB display offerings with new Mini RGB evo models, providing consumers with a wider range of options for high-performance displays. The certification from TÜV Rheinland confirms that these models have undergone rigorous testing to validate their optical and physical color purity.
Hüseyin Derman, Regional Sales Manager at TÜV Rheinland, commented on the significance of the certification, stating, "The TÜV Rheinland certification confirms that LG's Micro RGB evo has passed a rigorous evaluation of its capacity to deliver physically and optically high-purity colors by completely preventing the intermixing of RGB wavelengths." This endorsement positions LG's new offering as a leader in the premium TV market.
The α11 AI Processor Gen3 also supports advanced features such as the Dual AI Engine, which enhances image quality by analyzing texture and edge details simultaneously. This results in more cohesive visuals across various content types, including movies and games. Moreover, the Micro Dimming Ultra feature ensures optimal brightness control across numerous dimming zones, enhancing detail in both bright and dark scenes.
The Micro RGB evo will be displayed at LG's booth in Hall 18 at Messe Berlin during the IFA 2026 event, running from September 4 to 8. This show highlights LG's commitment to innovation in the display technology sector, particularly in delivering superior color accuracy and immersive viewing experiences.
